JD Bistro has been a family business since 2015 and is in the off-the-beaten-track village, Napier, en route to the most southern point of Africa, L’Agulhas.
The food is fresh with bold flavours and depends heavily on the season and their own organic vegetable garden.
Food and wine is in the family’s blood with both JD Bistro and JD Wines run by the two sons with the assistance of Jean and Renee Daneel.
The Bistro is vegetarian friendly and can also provide vegan on request.
The Bistro’s bakery daily makes wood fired oven artisan breads as well as authentic sourdough breads.
