In the heart of the Overberg, where blue cranes keep watch and Fynbos smells overwhelm, rest the vineyards of Boschrivier Wines.

We are a family-owned winery with a small range of wines and a reputation for a beautiful full-bodied and well-balanced Shiraz, a wine we have been producing since 2001.

Boschrivier farms in the Stanford area have been in the De Villiers family for more than a century and we offer accommodation as well as events on the farms.

Apart from our farmlands and vineyards, we also have a strong interest in conservation of indigenous mountain Fynbos and Renosterveld fauna and flora.

Our recently renovated tasting room/venue can host functions and weddings for up to 100 people, with 5 accommodation units sleeping a total of 36 people. Boschrivier offers the peace and tranquility of a relaxing farm getaway, and is perfectly suited for festive gatherings with family and friends while reconnecting with nature.
Activities include hiking, cycling, fishing, 4X4 routes, birding, Fynbos tours, movement retreats and more.
