Founded in 1989, Bouchard Finlayson is situated in the scenic Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, falling within the internationally acclaimed wine region of Walker Bay, South Africa. Under the ownership of the Tollman family, and guided by the leadership of Victoria Tollman, Bouchard Finlayson is passionate in its pursuit of winemaking excellence.

Cellar master Chris Albrecht heads up our worldclass winemaking and viticultural team, crafting a focused portfolio of terroir-driven wines.

More than half of the 25 hectares under vine is devoted to Pinot Noir, the varietal for which Bouchard Finlayson is most famous. Other cultivars in production include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Mourvédre and Barbera. Produced according to age-old Burgundian principles, our handcrafted wines are hailed by an international audience of connoisseurs and wine critics as some of the most refined examples of South African wine.

Bouchard Finlayson combines classical French winemaking techniques with New World innovation and creativity, resulting in celebrated wines and lasting memories.
