La Vierge (French for ‘the virgin’) Wines is a specialist in Pinot Noir, also known as the heartbreak grape. La Vierge grapes are grown in the rich clay-based soil of the cool climate Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, best suited to the delicate Burgundy-styled wines.
